We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Shop Manager. Our shop services a wide range of vehicles including cars, trucks, semi-trucks, tractors, and loaders.
This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and able to lead a team while maintaining a high standard of work.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day shop operations to ensure work runs smoothly
Ensure all work is completed properly
Assist team members with tasks and troubleshooting when needed
Retrieve tires and tubes for technicians
Gather and record customer and job information accurately
Enter job details into the computer system
Answer phone calls and assist customers in a professional manner
Assign tasks during slower periods (cleaning, organizing, maintenance)
Assist with shop work as required
Requirements
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Solid attention to detail and organization skills
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well with others and lead a team
Capable of working under pressure
