We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Sushi Chef to join our fast-paced culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare large volumes of sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes to Kibo’s exact recipe and quality standards.
Expertly slice, butcher, and portion fresh fish and seafood.
Prepare and season sushi rice consistently.
Package and organize prepared food items for safe distribution to various Kibo locations.
Maintain a pristine, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
Monitor ingredient inventory, rotate stock (FIFO), and minimize food waste.
Comply strictly with all health, safety, and food sanitation regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:



Minimum [Insert Number] years of experience as a Sushi Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant, catering, or central kitchen setting.
Skills: Exceptional knife skills and a deep understanding of fish breakdown and handling.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Japanese ingredients, flavor profiles, and food safety standards.
Certifications: Valid Food Handler’s Certificate is required.
Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced setting, and lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., bags of rice).
Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse kitchen.
