Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our agile maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting dedicated to excellence. Dealership experience is asset but not required. Would consider 3rd or 4th year apprentice position.

Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, industrial machinery, and manufacturing equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs involving low voltage systems,
Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with team members to analyze equipment failures and develop strategies for continuous improvement in maintenance procedures.
Ensure all work adheres to safety standards,



including proper lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety protocols.Requirements
Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints confidently.
Ability to analyze complex mechanical issues quickly using analysis skills and troubleshooting expertise.
Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, Schematics interpretation, and safety standards related to industrial maintenance.

Pay: $48.00-$54.00 per hour
