Job Summary

Assemble and service of processing equipment in the aggregate & recycling industry

Responsibilities and Duties
Ensuring equipment is operational and maintained, in an appropriate and acceptable fashion
Travel to client locations in Ontario to service equipment
Using various tools and procedures to repair and service equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and find solutions
Inspect equipment and diagnose to identify necessary repairs and maintenance. Identify practical fixes to effectively service and repair equipment ensuring proper operating condition and availability for rental and/ or sale.
Work effectively and efficiently in the shop and/or at the job site. Proactively identify work that is required, and communicate with supervisor regarding work plan. React well when priorities change.
Complete all paperwork on a timely basis.
Maintain a clean work vehicle and work area as necessary to maintain a safe work workplace
Follow all company policies and procedures,



governmental and equipment related safety

Qualifications and Skills
3 + years’ experience working with heavy equipment, Preferable in a technician or mechanic position
Valuable hydraulic, electrical and mechanical aptitude and experience with various power tools
Valid G Driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
Experience with hydraulics and electrical assembly an asset
Comfortable multitasking and works well under pressure
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience dealing with customers in the field an asset.

Hourly wage based on experience.
