One of our clients is looking an experienced QC/QA Welding Supervisor for a steel fabrication facility specializing in pre-engineered steel buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all fabricated steel components meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards before leaving the shop.

This role requires robust knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding inspection, quality control procedures, and industry standards including ISO, CSA W47.1, and CSA W59.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect and verify steel materials and fabricated components to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Monitor welding, fabrication, and finishing processes for quality compliance
Maintain and update quality control documentation, reports, and records
Coordinate with production teams to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions




Conduct internal audits and support third-party inspections
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies
Communicate quality standards and expectations to shop and field staff
Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and erection operations

Requirements
Experience in structural steel fabrication and welding inspection
Robust understanding of ISO, CSA W47.1, and CSA W59 standards
Knowledge of fabrication drawings and tolerances
Experience in quality control documentation and reporting
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and manage non-conformance processes

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
