Impact children's lives in YMCA Vanderhoof's inclusive programs as an Activity Leader. This role is designed for those passionate about fostering learning and development for kids aged 5-12.

The YMCA Care and Learning Centre is looking for a dedicated individual for the Activity Leader position. Initially a full time role until August 28, it shifts to part-time thereafter. You'll design and facilitate activities while nurturing each child's unique strengths, helping them navigate their experiences positively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement diverse, age-appropriate programs
• Lead fun and engaging indoor and outdoor activities
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the team
• Build strong connections with children and families




• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for participants

Requirements:
• At least 19 years of age with experience in child care
• Comfortable with organizing inclusive experiences
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Certification in Emergency First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
