Be an essential part of Long Term Care in North York, Ontario, as a Physiotherapy Assistant. Work closely with residents implementing treatment plans and monitoring their progress.

We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Long Term Care team. Under the supervision of the Physiotherapist, you will assist residents with their therapy sessions, motivating them to reach their goals. Your responsibility for documenting sessions and monitoring residents' health is crucial to their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate group exercises and individual sessions as directed
• Encourage residents to achieve their treatment objectives
• Record treatment details and residents' improvements




• Assist with mobility tasks such as walking and transferring
• Report any health changes to the Physiotherapist

Requirements:
• Must be a qualified Physiotherapy Assistant or equivalent
• Excellent ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Solid communication skills with elderly clients
• Prior experience in a Long Term Care setting valued
• Required: Current police check and TB test or chest X-Ray
