Take on a critical role as a Mental Health Support Worker at Cool Aid's Sandy Merriman House. This position prioritizes the needs of vulnerable clients and involves a range of housing and emotional support services.

As a full time, temporary worker, you will engage with individuals experiencing homelessness, utilizing your background in social services. Collaborate with fellow team members to provide essential care, case planning, and help clients access external resources. Your understanding of the challenges faced by diverse populations will be essential in advocating and delivering positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan housing services and support programs
• Assist clients with emotional and daily living needs




• Respond to crisis situations with first aid and Naloxone
• Facilitate client referrals and registrations
• Promote advocacy and support for client needs

Requirements:
• Diploma in a related Social or Human Services field
• At least two years' relevant work experience
• Certification in Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C
• Successful Criminal Record Check completion
• Direct experience in community services preferred
