Become a part of Lakeridge Health's team as a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Ontario. This full-time role involves performing critical imaging tasks in Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT while ensuring high-quality patient care.
You will work under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine/PET Manager, executing essential procedures and upholding patient safety at all times. This position includes managing department workflows, assisting with clerical functions, and participating in training programs for current staff. Commitment to professional standards and patient-centered care is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures
• Assist Nuclear Medicine physician with specialized tasks
• Direct and monitor patient services and flow
• Engage in training activities for student technologists
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control checks
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
• Knowledge of PET and CT imaging beneficial
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training
