Join the shíshálh Nation as a Public Works General Labourer, performing essential outdoor manual tasks. This part time position requires versatility in various maintenance and construction activities.

As a member of the public works team, you will work directly under the Public Works Supervisor. You will be responsible for maintaining roads, assisting with construction projects, and operating a range of equipment. Essential skills include a respect for shíshálh traditions and sensitivity to community needs. Flexibility for additional hours on weekends is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain roads and community infrastructure effectively
• Operate diverse tools for landscaping and construction




• Assist in public waste collection and maintenance tasks
• Conduct safety checks on equipment and vehicles
• Collaborate with team members on various projects

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and clean record
• Experience in maintenance and landscaping
• Familiarity with shíshálh culture and traditions
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Deliver valuable community support and hands-on maintenance work as part of the shíshálh Nation team.
