Role Description The Food Service Worker role at Aramark Canada is a full time, on-site position located in Stellarton, NS. In this role, the Food Service Worker assists with basic food preparation, portioning, and assembling meals according to established menus and recipes. Daily tasks include serving food and beverages to guests, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and following all food safety and sanitation procedures. The Food Service Worker also interacts with customers in a professional, friendly manner, responds to questions, and supports a positive dining experience.



This position works as part of a team, helping with stocking supplies, operating simple kitchen equipment, and completing closing or opening duties as required.
Qualifications
Ability to perform food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, portioning, and assembling menu items.
Experience or comfort with food service and food & beverage operations in a cafeteria, restaurant, or similar environment.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn food safety, sanitation standards, and proper handling and storage of food.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and team members.
Reliability to work full-time on-site shifts in Stellarton, NS, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment while following instructions.
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
