Join The Hospital for Sick Children as a skilled Pediatric Anesthesia Assistant dedicated to children and their families. This full time position includes providing hands-on anesthesia care under physician supervision.

As an Anesthesia Assistant, you will participate in the care of pediatric patients undergoing various sedation types. You'll work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and have a significant role in providing safe sedation across multiple hospital locations. Your high clinical autonomy will allow you to utilize your critical care expertise effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' clinical status and anticipate issues
• Deliver anesthesia and procedural sedation care




• Maintain communication within the interdisciplinary care team
• Utilize evidence-based practice in patient care
• Uphold ethical standards in anesthesia provision

Requirements:
• Completion of accredited Anesthesia Assistant program
• Certified Clinical Anesthesia Assistant (CCAA) credentials
• Active membership with CRTO or CNO
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
