Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion.
Mix paints and coatings accurately
Apply paint or coatings using spray guns, or brushes with precision and consistency.
Inspect finished work for quality, uniformity, and adherence to specifications; make touch-ups as necessary.
Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and secure handling of chemicals.
Maintain a clean work area, organize tools and supplies, and document completed tasks accurately.
Requirements
Proven experience in painting within a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
Basic math skills
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced workplace with attention to detail.
