About the Role

Aviation GSE is expanding our maintenance team at Toronto Pearson International Airport ! We’re hiring two key roles under this posting:
Apprentice GSE Technician – Entry-level prospect with full training provided.
Lead GSE Technician – Experienced position with supervisory and mentoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a wide range of airport ground support equipment.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and equipment diagnostics.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with electricians, welders, and paint/body teams to complete full-service repairs.
Lead Technicians:
Supervise apprentices and junior team members.
Assign work orders and ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
Provide mentorship and promote a culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications





Apprentice GSE Technician:
Basic mechanical aptitude with a strong interest in hands-on technical work.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
Safety-conscious and dependable.

Lead GSE Technician:
Minimum 5 years of experience in GSE, heavy equipment, or automotive repair.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Leadership or supervisory experience is a strong asset.
Must be adaptable to shift work and outdoor working conditions.

Pay: $17.20-$52.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
