We are seeking skilled and reliable Spray Foam Installer/Fireproofing Installer/Firestop Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing spray foam insulation, fireproofing materials, and firestop systems across various commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand tools, reading blueprints, and performing caulking tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to the safety and energy efficiency of building structures.
Duties
Install spray foam insulation according to project specifications and safety standards
Apply fireproofing materials and firestop systems to structural elements as directed
Use hand tools such as caulking guns, trowels, and other construction tools to complete installations
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement of materials
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming prior to application
Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project timelines
Assist in the setup and cleanup of work areas,
maintaining a clean and safe job site
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications
Prior experience in construction, insulation installation, or fireproofing preferred
Knowledge of caulking techniques and proficiency with hand tools required
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is highly desirable
Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work at heights if necessary
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between job sites as needed
A positive attitude, robust work ethic, and willingness to learn current skills
