Duties
Plan and execute comprehensive basketball training programs tailored to various skill levels
Lead team practices, drills, and scrimmages to improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance and confidence
Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating setting that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship
Organize and oversee game-day strategies, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules
Promote additional activities such as swimming or other sports to diversify athlete engagement when applicable
Maintain clear communication with players, parents,



and staff regarding schedules, progress, and upcoming events

Qualifications
Proven experience in coaching basketball at youth or adult levels with a passion for teaching the sport
Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies
Excellent communication skills to motivate and instruct diverse groups of athletes
Ability to develop customized training plans that challenge athletes appropriately
Prior experience or interest in teaching swimming is a plus for multi-sport program involvement
Energetic attitude with the ability to inspire teamwork, discipline, and resilience in athletes
Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$35.00 per hour
