About the Role
We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our manufacturing team as Quality Inspectors. In this hands-on role, you will be the final line of defense in ensuring every vehicle that rolls off the assembly line meets world-class quality and safety standards. If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy working in a quick-paced, active setting, this is the job for you!
No prior engineering or advanced technical experience is required - full on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Inspections: Carefully check vehicles, painted surfaces, and parts as they move down the assembly line to spot scratches, dents, or missing components.
Hands-On Testing: Test basic vehicle functions, such as door latches, seatbelts, and interior displays, to ensure they work perfectly.
Measurements: Use simple hand tools (like gauges and calipers) to make sure parts are aligned and fit together properly.
Flagging Defects: Immediately tag any defective parts or vehicles and route them to the rework station so they do not continue down the line.
Record Keeping: Log inspection results and track defects using a handheld tablet or workstation computer.
Safety & Standards:
Strictly follow all safety guidelines and step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Solid attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Reliability and the ability to keep up with a fast-paced, continuously moving production line.
Good communication skills to report issues to team leaders and shift supervisors.
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or physical quality control is a bonus, but not strictly required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to stand on your feet for an 8 to 10-hour shift.
Comfortable performing repetitive motions, bending, reaching, and occasionally working inside vehicle cabins.
Willingness to work rotating shifts (including days, afternoons, or nights) as required by the production schedule.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Alliston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Application question(s):
Do you have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle to commute to work?
Work Location: In person
