Join our agile culinary team as a Food Expeditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. In this vital role, you will act as the communication hub between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, coordinating food preparation and presentation to uphold our high standards of quality and service. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a lively, effective atmosphere that delights our guests and supports our talented culinary team.

Duties
Act as the central communication point between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of orders
Verify that all dishes meet presentation standards and are free of errors before serving to guests
Organize and prioritize incoming food orders to maintain smooth kitchen operations
Ensure food safety protocols are followed during handling, plating, and delivery of dishes
Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, including garnishing and portioning
Maintain cleanliness in the expediting station, including wiping down surfaces and organizing utensils and plates




Collaborate with kitchen staff to resolve any order discrepancies or delays quickly and efficiently

Skills
Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
Familiarity with food preparation, plating techniques, and basic cooking skills is a plus
Experience in hotel or barista settings enhances understanding of guest services and hospitality standards

Pay: $18.25-$46.30 per hour
