Become an integral part of Summit Air as a Maintenance Planner, working out of Edmonton or Yellowknife. Focus on developing effective maintenance strategies to support our aviation operations.
This full time permanent role under the Maintenance Operations Manager involves creating maintenance plans that meet operational requirements and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate cross-departmentally while providing forecasts, schedules, and resources needed for effective aircraft maintenance activities across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create long-term and short-term maintenance planning projections
• Manage acquisition of necessary parts and tooling
• Build and schedule work packages for maintenance tasks
• Oversee maintenance planning budgets and forecasts
• Communicate effectively with Operations on maintenance schedules
Requirements:
• College, Trade, or Diploma in Aviation Maintenance preferred
• 4+ years of Aircraft Maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of aircraft schedules and airworthiness limitations
• Excellent proficiency with MS Office and tracking systems
• Capable of enhancing processes for better efficiency
