As a Recreation Worker, you will plan and oversee various activities that enrich residents’ daily experiences, ensuring each activity aligns with their preferences and needs. You will effectively communicate with residents, families, and community partners while maintaining an setting conducive to participation. Regularly evaluating programs will be part of your contribution to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead engaging daily activities for residents
• Create supportive and engaging activity spaces




• Collaborate with families and communicate effectively
• Record and report changes in resident participation
• Help all departments enhance resident engagement

Requirements:
• Experience in long-term care with seniors
• Post-secondary education in recreation or related field
• Qualifications in health care with recreation experience
• Ability to support a culture of resident participation
