Wage Scales: Level 1 - $20.45 - $23.14
Level 2 - $23.14 - $26.37
Level 3 - $26.37 – $29.60
Shift: Team 1 Sun-Tues 1800-0610/Sun-Wed 1800-0610

Job Summary: The BulkPackaging Operatorpackages bulk gelatin capsules in accordance with packaging instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.
In this role you will: Maintain and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Perform regular quality in process checks
Disassemble, clean and re-assemble packaging equipment
Inspect gelatin capsules for defects
Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
You have: The ability to work with your hands and keep up in a physically demanding environment
An inclination for keeping yourself and others safe while working in a fast-paced high-output setting
A strong understanding of the English language to effectively communicate with your team
Strong mathematical, mechanical and troubleshooting skills




The capability to work in a team-based environment to effectively meet deadlines
You want: Learn or build on previous packaging experience

Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
Ability to learn and use company specific software, such as the Warehouse Management System
Previous experience with operation and setup of packaging equipment an asset
Previous production and GMP experience an asset
Attributes Must have the ability to work in and create a team atmosphere
Capable of performing all job duties in a fast-paced workplace, including lifting up to 11kgs and standing for extended periods
Excellent attention to detail and follows directions well
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
