Southbridge Care Homes seeks a Director of Nursing Services to ensure high-quality resident care in Port Hope, Ontario. This full time leadership role requires substantial clinical experience and regulatory excellence.

You will be responsible for the safe delivery of nursing and personal care services, in line with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021. This includes overseeing staffing, managing care plans, and leading quality improvement measures. Your leadership on critical events and strong communication will enhance both resident care and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all nursing and personal care programs
• Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations
• Recruit and manage clinical staff for optimal care




• Lead infection control and medication management initiatives
• Act as a liaison during resident/family council meetings

Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 5 years’ experience in nursing leadership
• Deep understanding of Ontario long-term care regulations
• Current CPR/BLS certification needed
• Successful police reference check required
