The County of Simcoe is looking for a diligent Maintenance Worker skilled in various trades to maintain a safe workplace in a long-term care facility. Support resident safety through reliable repairs and effective maintenance tasks.

In this role, you will engage in essential maintenance duties including HVAC system assistance, preventative maintenance, and equipment servicing. The position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and utilizing electronic systems to enhance service delivery while maintaining compliance with various regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general building repairs and maintenance
• Test and maintain emergency power and lighting systems
• Assist with regular inspections of facility equipment




• Collect and dispose of garbage as directed
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions

Requirements:
• Three years of relevant maintenance experience
• Grade 12 diploma; equivalency considered
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Criminal Records Check necessary
• TB test documentation required for employment
