As a key player in our team, you will perform complex tasks such as fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting across industrial and oil sands operations. The role emphasizes adherence to best practices while ensuring the highest quality of work, mentoring junior technicians, and following safety protocols. You will also play an integral role in maintaining strong client partnerships throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and splice single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic systems
• Perform system diagnostics and repairs as necessary




• Certify and document all testing results rigorously
• Oversee completion of fiber optic builds from start to finish
• Suggest improvements for operational efficiency

Requirements:
• Extensive experience—5 to 10 years in fiber optics
• Competence with fusion splicing and fiber testing tools
• Understanding of telecommunications documentation
• Preferred certifications in fiber optics
• Valid Canadian work authorization and clean driving history
