Support therapeutic recreation programs as a Recreation Therapy Aide at AgeCare. Enhance residents’ lifestyles through dedicated teamwork and person-centered care.

In this dynamic role, you will assist with the assessment, planning, and execution of individualized recreation programs. Collaboration is essential as you help tailor goals based on resident feedback, transport residents to engaging offsite activities, and track their participation. You will actively contribute to safety audits and manage the inventory of resources while prioritizing resident rights and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and track Leisure Lifestyle goals for each resident
• Communicate necessary adaptations in recreation goals




• Facilitate recreational programs to suit individualized needs
• Drive residents to external activities using AgeCare's vehicle
• Participate in the creation of the monthly Recreation Calendar

Requirements:
• RTA certificate or diploma is a must
• Class 4 Drivers License or apply for one soon
• CPR & First Aid certifications desirable
• Previous experience in Recreation Therapy is preferred
• Robust organizational and interpersonal skills needed
