Join the Sudbury Arena team as Lead Hand Arena Maintenanceperson. Manage diverse tasks ensuring facility readiness for events and maintain high ice standards in a permanent role.

This position in the Community Services Department requires strong supervision skills and a background in facility management. Leveraging your two years of experience, you will handle ice maintenance, oversee event setup, and direct full and part-time personnel effectively within the agile environment of Sudbury Arena.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as handyman for maintenance and repairs
• Oversee regular ice maintenance and performance logs
• Execute facility conversions for major events
• Direct the assembling of stages and equipment set-ups
• Ensure compliance with operational and safety logs

Requirements:
• Secondary school completion
• Refrigeration Operator “B” Certificate preferred
• Two years’ experience in arena maintenance
• Lead hand experience necessary
• Driver's license is mandatory with a clean record
