As part of GEI’s instrumentation and monitoring practice, you will assist the Instrumentation Project Manager in supporting projects like the Don Valley Crossing. Your tasks will involve programming, managing data flows, and troubleshooting technical issues across key systems.

This remote, on-call position requires adaptability to project demands and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and troubleshoot automation scripts for data collection
Support configuration of data loggers and monitoring equipment




Maintain automated dataflows between instruments and platforms
Prepare Python and SQL scripts for system maintenance
Monitor system performance and assist with troubleshooting

Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Engineering or Computer Science
Experience with embedded systems and data acquisition
Proficiency in programming languages like Python or C++
Understanding of communication protocols and database systems
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
