Enhance outcomes for secondary pupils with SEMH needs in Lambeth as a dedicated Outreach Advisor. Collaborate with schools and families to deliver key support strategies tailored for vulnerable learners.
This 6-month contract role focuses on improving the educational experience for secondary-aged pupils facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges. As a qualified qualified, you will provide outreach support to ensure schools implement effective strategies and early interventions.
Your role will also involve coordinating the 'Experts at Hand' model, offering specialized advice and practical solutions while managing a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide SEMH outreach and behaviour support to secondary schools
Coordinate and deliver the 'Experts at Hand' model for schools
Manage caseloads,
aiding reintegration and preventing exclusion
Analyze data to identify trends for targeted support
Design training for education staff on SEMH interventions
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE or equivalent
Significant experience in secondary education with SEMH expertise
Leadership experience in inclusion or behaviour strategies
Knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusion policies
Robust analytical and organizational skills
Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by addressing SEMH needs and promoting inclusive practice in Lambeth.
