Position Description

We currently have an exciting role for a Journeyman (Red Seal) Heavy Duty Mechanic to service our fleet of commercial vehicles in our Hanna, AB location.

Position Responsibilities
Ability to service and repairs of all Company vehicles/equipment
Ability to perform CVIP inspections
Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritize work and material requirements and operate independently
Ability to perform services and repairs out of service truck
Perform preventive maintenance services
Ensure service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements




Expected to play a leading role in implementing and promoting workplace safety and professionalism and recommend positive workplace change
Additional duties may be required

Qualifications
Red Seal
CNG inspection ticket
Valid class 5 License.
Class 3 license considered an asset
Full understanding of all relevant safety and compliance regulations, policies
2 years maintenance experience considered an asset
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience in waste equipment and function is considered an asset
CVIP certification
Must be able to pass pre‑employment testing including D&A;
