As a committed H&S; Manager, you will coordinate all health and safety initiatives for the construction site at the Saint Constant Plant. Your role will involve developing and implementing safety programs, ensuring compliance with Quebec legislation, and maintaining health and safety oversight during construction activities. You will lead investigations into incidents, review contractor performance, and manage a safety committee.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop site-specific OH&S; program and emergency-response plans
• Maintain active oversight during construction activities
• Lead accident investigations and preventive action implementations
• Review and pre-qualify contractors based on safety performance
• Coordinate safety communications with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a technical field
• Minimum 5 years as an OH&S; Coordinator/Manager
• Strong knowledge of Quebec health and safety legislation
• Bilingual in French and English
• Proven experience in industrial or heavy construction projects
