This position calls for a General Supervisor to direct activities during weekend shifts in a dynamic shipbuilding environment. You will collaborate with project managers and chargehands while overseeing various trades workers. The role requires regular performance checks and managing documentation as per the collective agreement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement safety and quality control measures on-site
• Facilitate effective communication between trades teams and Management
• Allocate trades employees efficiently to meet schedules
• Conduct performance management and accountability tasks
• Maintain a respectful and harassment-free work workplace

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or trades certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of trade practices, including welding and electrical work
