Join Vale Base Metals as a Mine Engineer at Voisey’s Bay, Labrador, where you will design and execute mining strategies in an on-site role. This permanent position follows a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule.

As part of the Mines Technical Services team, you will be at the heart of our mining operations, working with geologists and engineers to implement innovative solutions. You will prepare and manage mine plans while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The role demands a collaborative spirit to meet production goals and enhance mining infrastructure efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create mid-range mine plans for optimal production
• Provide monthly targets for development activities




• Collaborate with the Capital Construction team
• Ensure adherence to mining safety regulations
• Generate reports on production and planning compliance

Requirements:
• Bachelors in Mining Engineering is a must
• P. Eng. designation required
• At least 4 years in an underground mining role
• Ability to design effective mining solutions
• Familiarity with mining software and safety compliance
