This role lasts for 8 weeks, starting September 1st, and primarily focuses on facilitating the Town's free cycling equipment loan program. Ideal candidates are passionate about cycling, have experience in cycle repair, and thrive on positive public interactions. This independent position requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the free bike/e-bike loan program
• Promote cycling and active transportation initiatives
• Assist the public with inquiries about equipment loans
• Maintain safety standards in all activities
• Provide support and advocacy for cycling
Requirements:
• Experience with cycling and cycle repairs
• Positive attitude when interacting with the public
• Valid driver’s license required
• Criminal Record Check needed
• Commitment to cycling advocacy and independence
