This role focuses on delivering individualized support from Kindergarten through Grade 12. You will connect with students on a personal level, fostering confidence and independence while reinforcing classroom materials. As a trusted educator, your expertise will help students thrive academically in various subject areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized tutoring sessions in students' homes
• Travel within approximately 20 minutes of your location
• Prepare and organize lesson materials for each student
• Support homework, test prep, and skill development
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to parents
Requirements:
• Certified or in positive standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Current Bachelor of Education candidates also eligible
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Robust knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
