Drive technical excellence for the Weatherization Assistance Program as a Technical Policy Specialist in St. Paul, Minnesota. This full time role offers a hybrid schedule and involves both independent analysis and collaborative leadership.
As part of the Commerce Department, you'll analyze complex regulations, create technical guidance, and ensure compliance with federal standards. Your work supports statewide energy modeling tools and develops the WAP Field Guide. Engage with a variety of stakeholders, including U.S. DOE officials and local service providers, to enhance program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage technical policies for WAP
• Analyze federal and state guidelines for compliance
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Create process documentation and user resources
• Coordinate training initiatives for program participants
Requirements:
• Four years of energy conservation analysis experience
• Experience in writing technical procedures and reports
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
