Walsh LLP is looking for a Senior Associate or Legal Counsel to enhance its First Nations Law practice. With an emphasis on teamwork and inclusivity, you will engage with Treaty Nations on corporate, land, and governance issues. This position is perfect for experienced lawyers passionate about fostering strong relationships within First Nations communities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Treaty and Aboriginal rights claims
• Advocate in Federal Court and appellate settings
• Address legal matters regarding land claims
• Counsel First Nations leaders and administrations
• Assist in policy and bylaw development

Requirements:
• 7 to 12 years of relevant legal experience
• Active member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
• Strong Federal Court advocacy skills
• Experience with Treaty Nations preferred
• Knowledge of First Nations governance structures
