Job Description

On-going implementation of customer service commitment

Allocation of work

Customer repair work

Handling customer calls

Monitoring both the quantity and qualify of work within the branch

Ensuring safety standards are maintained

Current employee orientation

Assist leadhands and technicians with managing machine overalls and large projects

Act as a key technical resource for shop technicians

Qualifications

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification

Well-rounded experience as a Journeyperson Technician

Completion, or in the process of completing, Finning S-Level courses

Computer literate and possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills,



coupled with outstanding product knowledge

Leadership skills and the willingness to contribute positively to a quality team environment

Important Details

This is a position based out of Whitehorse, on a Monday - Friday (5x2) shift

A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator

This is a unionized position. Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire. Terms of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
