Position: Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service
Department: Ticket Sales & Service
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
Summary: The Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service for Canucks Sports & Entertainment will create a growth-oriented ticket sales and service team focused on revenue maximization. This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of departmental strategic plans and supporting tactical and operational plans for the Ticket Sales and Service department, as well as ticket operations and the Ticket Centre. This position oversees all ticket sales and service for the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) and Vancouver Warriors (NLL) professional sports teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be assigned as required)
Works with the Chief Revenue Officer to build and evolve a strategic plan to maximize revenue from ticket sales and retention of season ticket members and group buyers for both the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) and Vancouver Warriors (NLL) inventory
Creates a team-focused, high-energy sales culture
Provides leadership to multiple direct reports who lead the ticket sales & service, the Ticket Centre and ticket operations teams
Works with direct reports to implement and measure departmental sales/renewal plans for all season ticket products and group ticketing programs
Works with Ticket Service leaders to develop and implement service excellence initiatives
Identifies potential new team members and leads effort to coach and develop all staff and create our next generation of leaders.
Develops new relationships with high level prospects and fosters existing relationships with major clients
Collaborates with the Business Intelligence team to develop ticket pricing strategies,



monitor and forecast all seating availability on a game-by-game basis while creating strategic plans to address any inventory challenges throughout the course of each season.
Strategizes and collaborates with Corporate Partnerships team to ensure that all revenue-producing teams are executing aligned strategies and working as one group to achieve Canucks Sports & Entertainment revenue goals
Coordinates segmented marketing efforts and single-game sales efforts with Marketing team
Works closely with CSE executive team and ownership on initiatives that significantly affect the budget of strategic objectives of the organization
Reports daily sales results and forecasts to CSE leadership
Works with Finance and People teams on all reporting and the development of compensation structures that reward the right behavior
Actively monitors all elements of the sports, entertainment, leisure and service industries for inspiration from best practices that can be utilized in our business
Serves as a committed and responsible member of the company’s Senior Leadership team
REQUIRED Experience & Qualifications: 10+ years’ progressive experience in ticket sales, service, revenue generation or a related field, preferably within professional sports, entertainment or a comparable industry, with 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing and developing high-performing sales and service teams.

coaching, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue, sales, retention and renewal targets.
Extensive experience with season ticket memberships, group sales, premium seating, suites, single-game sales and customer retention strategies.
Strong knowledge of ticketing strategy, pricing, inventory management, revenue optimization and sales forecasting.
Experience with CRM and ticketing platforms, preferably Salesforce and Ticketmaster/Archtics, with a solid understanding of data-driven sales management.
Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, establish performance standards, manage forecasts and drive accountability across a large sales organization.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to translate customer and sales data into actionable revenue opportunities.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with premium, corporate and high-value customers.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as required during the hockey season and major events
