We are seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our Merchandising department's activities. This full-time role includes responsibilities such as market analysis, relationship management, and grain sourcing from farms. Ideal candidates will understand the agricultural landscape and possess strong sales techniques to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue recent business opportunities in grain origination
• Meet with producers to foster solid, lasting relationships
• Serve as primary contact for grain purchasing negotiations
• Keep producers informed of relevant market trends
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to provide market insights
Requirements:
• Proven success in grain origination and market understanding
• Valid driver’s license; availability for travel
• Solid sales skills with a successful track record
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Excel
• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
