Position: Bottling Line Production Assistant. Permanent position.
Pay: $23 per hour.
Location: 186 Atkins Road, Salt Spring Island.
Schedule: Part time, two days per week.
Days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays (needs to be committed to work every Tuesday within reason).
Shifts: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Moonshine Mama’s is looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on production role working as part of a team on a bottling assembly line. The work involves completing repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately while helping the line run smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Working at different stations along the bottling assembly line

Recording explicit and accurate written production logs

Applying labels and checking that labels are positioned correctly

Inspecting bottles and packaging for quality

Performing other quality tests

Cleaning and sanitizing the production area and equipment after use





Participating in periodic deep cleaning of the facility

Attending required training

Assisting with other production and facility tasks as needed

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, punctual, and ready to work

Is comfortable performing repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods

Can maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a rapid-paced production workplace

Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team

Is professional, adaptable, and willing to learn

Takes food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety seriously

Previous production, packaging, food manufacturing, or assembly-line experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided.
