St. Anthony’s Elementary School,



a faith-based Catholic educational community, seeks a compassionate and skilled Learning Resource Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate must be certified in Orton-Gillingham literacy instruction and trained in multi-sensory math strategies, with a deep commitment to nurturing every child's academic and spiritual development. A Special Education Certificate is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized and small-group instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics using multi-sensory, evidence-based methods (e.g., Orton-Gillingham and structured math programs). Assess students’ academic needs and learning profiles through informal and formal assessments. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans to support student learning. Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and administrators about student progress and strategies. Promote an inclusive and supportive environment rooted in Catholic values. Attend IEP meetings and assist with documentation as needed. Be an excellent communicator able to use a variety of conflict management strategies. Did you know?
