In this role, you’ll spearhead R&D; efforts in D-Wave's Algorithms, Performance, and Tools team. A Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related fields, along with 4+ years of research experience, is essential. You’ll engage with cross-functional teams to improve quantum system performance and communicate your findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create novel hybrid algorithms for quantum applications
• Conduct benchmarking and performance analysis
• Validate and reproduce results from scientific papers
• Evaluate benchmark literature for technical accuracy
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
Requirements:
• Master’s or PhD in Science/Engineering
• 4+ years in a full time research capacity
• Strong Python expertise; C++ knowledge preferred
• Experience with Monte Carlo and statistical physics
• Demonstrated research and technical writing proficiency
