The Homemaker position involves various cleaning tasks to ensure that resident and shelter areas are secure and welcoming. Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll oversee volunteer efforts and assist residents with personal hygiene and nutrition. Being attentive and alert during shifts is crucial to maintain service standards and safety measures, with shifts covering weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning duties in resident rooms and communal areas
• Change beds, launder clothes, and organize supplies
• Guide and manage volunteers effectively




• Assist residents in personal care needs
• Comply with health and safety requirements at all times

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education with relevant experience
• Certification in Occupational First Aid Level 1
• Skills training in crisis intervention preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with clientele
• Must have a minimum of two years of sobriety
