Become a full-time Peer Support Worker with our Mobile Unit at HART Hub, offering vital mental health support. Leverage your personal experience to assist individuals in East End Communities.

In this role, you will provide trauma-informed, empathy-based care to those experiencing mental health challenges and substance use issues. You play a pivotal role in helping clients reconnect with their community and access essential services through holistic and culturally sensitive support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver trauma-informed support to individuals facing challenges
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and services
• Build trust while respecting clients' confidentiality
• Drive and manage a mobile outreach unit vehicle




• Maintain solid interpersonal relationships with clients

Requirements:
• Personal lived experience with mental health or substance use
• Familiarity with trauma-informed, harm reduction principles
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or a willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to undergo Naloxone training
