In this role, you will help residents with their day-to-day needs and long-term goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, managing crisis situations, and ensuring clients' basic needs are consistently met. Building rapport with guests is essential, requiring effective communication and advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate tenant intakes and ongoing support services
• Identify and address tenant challenges proactively
• Work closely to meet residents' immediate and long-term needs
• Prepare and maintain statistical records and relevant documents
• Support volunteers and students during their practical experience
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service or equivalent
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Required First Aid Certificate and Food Secure Certification (if applicable)
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License as needed
• Clear Criminal Record for the Vulnerable Sector
