Join the Perth East Recreation Complex team as a Facility Operator focused on facility maintenance, cleaning, and public safety. Your leadership and operational skills will ensure facilities are ready for community use.

In this full time role, you will supervise daily operations and the Facility Assistants while reporting directly to the Manager of Parks, Recreation and Community Services. Key tasks include maintaining cleanliness, managing supplies, and adhering to safety procedures. You will also liaise with user groups and contractors to optimize facility performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as lead over Facility Assistants on daily tasks
• Maintain operational standards for facility cleanliness
• Oversee facility supplies and inventory management




• Conduct daily equipment checks for safety
• Supervise events and ensure compliance with rental agreements

Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Recreation Facility Management is needed
• At least two years of experience in a similar role
• Ice Technician and Pool Operations certifications preferred
• Valid Ontario G license necessary
• Capable of working various shifts including evenings
