Kingston Fire and Rescue welcomes applications for Volunteer Firefighters at multiple stations. This role requires attending training and responding to emergencies like rescue work and fire incidents. Key Responsibilities:
• Answer emergency calls promptly in assigned areas
• Conduct fire station maintenance and inspections
• Educate the community on fire safety practices
• Participate in scheduled training sessions
• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Clean valid Ontario Class G driver’s license
• Past experience in emergency response preferred
• Eligibility to attend extensive training
• Physically fit and capable of working in all conditions
