We are currently looking for a FastBack Edge Polisher Operator / Production Support team member to join our production team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality finishes, and wants to build a long-term career in the countertop fabrication industry.

No previous FastBack experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

Operate our FastBack straight-line edge polishing machine.

Load, stage, and process countertop pieces efficiently and safely.

Set feed rates and polishing head pressure for various materials.

Change and maintain polishing wheels, abrasives, and pads.

Inspect finished edges for quality, consistency, and defects.

Handle natural stone, quartz, and porcelain safely throughout production.

Assist with hand polishing and general fabrication when required.

Perform daily cleaning, lubrication, and routine preventive maintenance.

Identify machine issues early and report them to supervision.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production setting.

What We're Looking For

A strong attention to detail and quality.





Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Ability to interpret shop drawings and transportation paperwork.

Comfortable working around heavy materials and wet production environments.

Ability to lift repeatedly and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Strong commitment to workplace safety.

A valid driver's license. Own transportation ( no public transit )

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
While not required, the following experience would be considered an asset:

Stone countertop fabrication

Tile, millwork, or machine shop experience

Hand polishing using variable-speed grinders and diamond polishing pads

Forklift certification

Overhead crane experience

CNC machining or CAD/CAM experience

WHMIS certification

Silica awareness training
