As a mentor reporting to the Program Manager, you’ll work weekends from 4 PM to midnight. The Peer Support Worker utilizes their personal experience with mental health and substance use to inspire others. You will support skill building, provide emotional assistance, and promote a protected community for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Share personal experiences to motivate service recipients
• Lead peer recovery workshops and activities
• Monitor safety and report relevant changes
• Assist with goal setting and case planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification
• At least 1 year experience in a similar role
• Completion of Tuberculosis Screening required
• Experience in leading community groups
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required
