Enhance patient rehabilitation as an Occupational Therapist with Humber River Health. Work collaboratively in a dynamic environment focused on effective care delivery and patient outcomes.
This temporary casual Occupational Therapist position is integral to our Allied Health Services. You will assess and provide treatments tailored to individual patient needs in both acute and post-acute settings. Your expertise will help develop discharge plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across various sites, including Wilson, Finch, and Church, during weekday shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat referred patients in varied settings
• Record patient assessments and progress thoroughly
• Participate in discharge planning with team members
• Supervise students from Occupational Therapy programs
• Provide consultation to other disciplines as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Previous acute setting experience preferred
• Robust communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to equity and diversity principles in care
